What happened to the OT Forum?

A couple of weeks ago I started getting calls end emails saying that forum users were getting strange pop-up and download windows on the forum. I kept trying to recreate the issue on my end and eventually discovered that it only happened when someone would be using the Internet Explorer browser to access the forum.

After a great deal of time was spent on the phone and through email with various tech people at the host, we found that someone had inserted a script within the server itself and that it was being resolved. I immediately closed the links to the forum but kept it open for testing.

A brand new forum has been created and I am asking that you no longer use the old link of www.outlandishtrends.com/otforum and change to the new forum link of www.outlandishtrends.com/forum.

What's different about the new forum?

First thing you will probably see if that it looks a LOT different than the old forum.

You can now add your birthday information to your profile.

It runs a little faster than the old version.

More secure and easier to filter the spammers.

I am making a lot of updates and changes right now, so more is on the way. PM Jason in the forum if you have any issues or questions.
